SUMMER CAMP GRAND FINALE,2019

OUR AIM

Greenland Public School, Lucknow organized a summer camp where the students were enrolled in several activities like personality development, life skills, foreign language, zumba dance, adventure sports and a lot more thrilling activities. There were various competitions held in the school in which the winners were given the prize on 28th May, 2019 on the Grand Finale day.

The event started with the national anthem followed by the lighting ceremony by the Chief Guest of the event- Mrs. Padmini Kolhapure (the Bollywood actress) along with Mr. Pradeep Sharma (Director and Producer of Bollywood), Guest of honour – Mrs. Manju Yadav (Vice Chairperson of Greenland Public School) and the Principal – Mrs. Rachna Mishra.

Performances like Ganesh Vandana, solo song, group zumba, French song, classical dance were the main attractions of the event. The school has always believed in commending the students to inspire them to scale greater heights. To honour the students of classes 10th and 12th who scored 90% marks and brought laurels to the Central Board of Secondary Education based Greenland Public School held a felicitation ceremony for the students on the same day by the chief guest and guest of honour who graced the occasion and presented the students the mementos for their meritorious performance. The ceremony was witnessed by the proud parents of the achievers.

Mrs. Padmini Kolhapure addressed the audience with her kind and motivational words as she herself is known for her professionalism and diligence in her field of acting and so she encouraged the audience to work harder and stay focused. She shared her life experiences and in this way everyone was enlightened by her presence.

Speaking on the occasion, the Principal in the keynote addressed everyone and urged the students to always remember the values they have ingrained at the school which will help them etch a life embellished with success. The principal, in her speech, expressed pride with the spectacular results of classes 10th and 12th. She stressed on the importance of hopes and aspirations and how they are the stepping stones on the path to success. Exhorting the students to carry on with their pursuit of excellence, she also congratulated the toppers. The chief coordinator Ms. Rutba Khan rendered the vote of thanks to everyone for making the event a huge success. The event successfully ended with the national anthem.
